In July of this year (2022), I was appointed as the second president of the company, succeeding my predecessor, Shinichiro Hashimoto.
Our company was founded in 2010 and is engaged in technological and business development of the NS Super Frame construction method and thin sheet materials for construction. According to the Building Standards Act, the NS Super Frame construction method is classified as thin plate lightweight section steel construction, which is a type of steel construction. Development began in 1996, and the Nippon Steel Group has worked together to independently evolve it and upgrade it to the third generation. Currently, it is used for a variety of purposes, including apartment complexes and elderly care facilities up to 4 stories high, offices and training centers up to 3 stories high, single-story stores, schools, and nursery schools with a structural plot area of 1000 m2 and wall panel height up to 4.5 m. It is used in buildings. We are also proud of the fact that our products were used as housing for reconstruction efforts following the Great East Japan Earthquake in five housing complexes in three prefectures: Iwate, Miyagi, and Fukushima, contributing to the early recovery. We believe that the excellent basic performance of the NS Super Frame construction method will solve two major issues facing the construction industry: the problem of a decline in the number of skilled construction workers, and the problem of adapting architecture to a carbon-neutral society. thinking about.
This construction method is a prefabricated construction method in which Nippon Steel’s highly corrosion-resistant plated steel plates (Super Dyma®) are used as frame materials, structural face materials are laminated, and plate-shaped insulation materials are combined and shipped as floor panels and wall panels. Therefore, at construction sites, it is possible to achieve both high quality and labor-saving on-site work, as well as short construction times.
In addition, the exterior insulation and ventilation method, which completely covers the steel frame with insulation material, is adopted as standard, making it possible to create a comfortable living space that is warm in the winter and cool in the summer, even with less air conditioning operation. With this revolutionary energy-saving performance, we are confident that this construction method will contribute to the realization of a carbon-neutral society by making it possible to create ZEH-M compliant apartment complexes and ZEB compliant offices that comply with the revised Building Energy Saving Act at a low cost. Masu.
We will continue to work together with our shareholders, Nippon Steel and Nippon Steel TexEngine, to promote the technological development of cutting-edge thin-plate lightweight structural buildings, and at the same time work with all shareholders to develop competitive architectural eco-products. We believe that our company’s mission is to provide services and contribute to society. In addition, through our products and services, we are committed to building win-win relationships with related companies in order to realize a future that will please our customers. Inside the company, we value a bright and airy company culture where everyone comes to work with a smile and greets each other every morning. We will not forget the spirit of challenge as a venture company, and all of our employees will continue to grow even further. We look forward to your continued cooperation with our company and patronage of our products.
